Why should you trust me?
You probably shouldn’t! Coaching is a very strange business. It is unregulated, and difficult to measure the performance of a coach. So it’s entirely up to you as to whether I provide you with any value. That having been said, coaching people is the most rewarding and most wonderful part of anything I’ve done. If you’re up for it, and if our chemistry is right, I’d be eager to explore whether I can provide value to you.
If you’re the type of person who trusts others based on what they have achieved, here are my career successes: I’ve been the CEO and COO at Aleph Beta where I manage a team of 30+ people and took us from 0 paid monthly subscribers to 11,000 with over $2 million dollars in yearly recurring revenue. I managed a branding and content creation consulting group and created videos for celebrities and clients who served the likes of Salesforce and the Dept. of Defense. I served as Director of the Maccabeats and Producer for Mayim Bialik’s YouTube channel where I produced a video with more than 16 million views on Youtube and an additional 25 videos with more than 1,000,000 views each. But the truth is, I think my career has been one big trojan horse to allow me to do the thing I enjoy most: coaching and producing.
A major through-line is my career is that I am a coach and producer. Whether with Mayim Bilaik, Rabbi David Fohrman, my clients or my employees, as a producer I work closely with others to get the best out of them. Early in my career, I thought that meant challenging others and pushing them to exert as much effort as they possibly could. However, I’ve learned that by identifying people’s strengths and enabling those strengths, a person can succeed more effortlessly and joyfully without ever spending a crumb of effort on their weaknesses.
My employees and business partners joke that I can barely work on a simple business problem without it turning into a therapy session - and I love that. I think that opportunities in business, struggles in a marriage, stress and anxiety, productivity, management - they all come down to who we are as people. What makes us tick? From where do we derive our sense of purpose? How do we understand and collaborate with others? How can we know ourselves and transact with others with transparency and authenticity and from a mindset of abundance? Working with others and helping their best is what brings me a sense of purpose and fulfillment. I’d look forward to be able to do that for you too.
